For this project, the owners were looking to take on the installation as an owner-builder. This allowed us to get into the field with them and help them with their installation and updates. They were looking for a "Better Home & Gardens" feel, and to keep the landscape lower maintenance Mediterranean-style plants were recommended and specified. Since the clients also had an interest in incorporating more moderate azaleas, camellias, and hydrangeas. The final install brought in a dry creek bed, Mediterranean plants for one part of the yard, and the more moderate water plants with higher shade needs for the other side. The artificial turf installation was completed by a separate contractor.
